It's looking like 2021 is going to be a great baseball / softball season based on the number of players and teams we’ll be fielding – and we couldn’t be more thrilled by that!
To have another successful season (in the era of COVID-19), it is critical that all persons who plan to attend, spectate, or participate in a JSLL event know and adhere to our COVID-19 guidelines, a copy of which is attached to this email. Adherence to these guidelines is required by the City of Worcester as a condition of our permit to host practices and games. The city could shut down our season if we do not follow these guidelines. For example, face coverings (which cover the mouth and nose) must be worn at all times by all players, coaches, parents, and spectators while at a JSLL event – even if socially distancing. We need everyone’s cooperation, patience, and understanding. Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines before you attend or participate in any JSLL event.
We will continue to provide updates as the season moves forward. We have had fantastic cooperation from our JSLL families to date - we thank you and appreciate all you do to support our efforts to keep the kids safely on the field!
